07/15/2010 - Inverness, Scotland (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Inverness manager Terry Butcher is delighted to have snapped up Northern Ireland goalkeeper Jonathan Tuffey on a two-year contract from Partick Thistle.

The 23-year-old had spent the last four seasons with the Jags, but has now opted for a fresh challenge in the Highlands.

Butcher told the Press and Journal: "Ryan Esson is the number one at the club, but I had a good chat with him and he is delighted there is competition with Jonny coming in.

"It will help the club and help him. Ryan did fantastically well last season coaching the younger players as we did not have a goalkeeping coach.

"Jonny is only 23 and has time on his side and he wanted to come here as soon as he knew of our interest."
